THE CHARITY
We believe that every woman should have the opportunity to enjoy the physical, mental, and social benefits that come with participating in sports. Through our initiatives and partnerships, we aim to create a more inclusive and supportive environment where women of all ages and backgrounds can thrive in sports.
SUPPORTING CAUSES IMPORTANT TO WOMEN
You Row Girl is proud to announce our partnership with the charities Coppafeel and Women in Sport. We are dedicated to supporting and empowering women whether they be suffering with breast cancer or participating in the world of sports. All funds raised through our efforts will be directed towards both charities in fulfilling their missions. Join us in our mission to make a difference and support women's health and participation in sports.
Our vision is that no-one is excluded from the joy, fulfilment and lifelong benefits of sport.
Women in Sport’s Mission Statement
Women in Sport is deeply committed to addressing inequality issues in sport and society as a whole and so our work encompasses everyone.
Specifically, our work extends to women and girls from diverse ethnic backgrounds who encounter significant barriers to participation in sports. We prioritise empowering these individuals, providing them with opportunities to access and benefit from sports activities.
Additionally, we are actively engaged in advocacy efforts aimed at influencing independent regulators to tackle abuse and misogyny in sports. This includes ongoing collaboration with relevant authorities to implement measures that safeguard the well-being and dignity of all participants, particularly those who are vulnerable to exploitation or discrimination.
