Our journey began in 2022 when Hebe was sailing to Africa. She saw the World’s Toughest Row rowers out on the ocean, heard them on the VHF, and was inspired by their passion for the sport. As sailors, we had always wanted to cross the Atlantic Ocean, but seeing their determination inspired us to take on the row. The seed of the idea was planted, and swiftly, we delved into researching every aspect. Before long, we had officially entered the World’s Toughest Row 2026.

Hebe and Amy were brought together by their shared love of sailing. The idea of having an all-women’s team while raising money for Women in Sport and CoppaFeel! went hand in hand perfectly. After interviewing over 35 incredible women, Amy and Hebe were joined by two other sailors: Ruby Scholten, who has the right mindset and ambition for the journey ahead; and Charlotte Porter, SailGP Global physiotherapist, who is excited for the challenge that awaits her.

As we look ahead with less than a year to go, the support we have received so far is heartwarming, and we invite you to continue following along and supporting us through the highs and lows. We continue to progress through thousands of hours of hard work: from administration tasks, to rigorous training sessions on the water and in the gym, to fundraising events and everything in between.
